When I see Michael Jackson, I see someone who seems like they are transgendered. Of course, only a person can say if they are or are not: themselves. We may never know. A person, who is one of the most popular people on the planet, would have a lot of pressure not to do something like transition, although Jackson seemed to do a lot of things that people didn't understand. Not all transgendered people transition, or even want to live as the opposite sex. Many just have different ways of expressing their gender. I don't really understand Michael, but from a distance it seemed like Jackson's journey was to express what was on the inside, and that just happened to be kind of feminine. So, there's your "freak" who, because of incredible fame, was attacked from all sides for being different and went into hiding. In all probability, the King of Pop was one of the nicest people you could meet, but will be remembered most for how they changed... I guess beauty really is skin deep, huh? Jackson had a skin condition (vitiligo) that causes a person to lose melanin, the pigment in skin. Even people who learn about this still think it was something intentional. Michael Jackson's performances were legendary. I hope we all can make the world a better place through our actions. "Make a better place for you and for me!" My refurbished 80GB iPod lasted about 2 years, but I think it's finally had a fatal error. Not long after I got it, my iPod froze up, at a time when everything was falling apart. That was solved by plugging some different cables in the bottom at the "Genius" bar at the Apple Store. I didn't have time to wait over an hour to see someone Thursday, but I did talk to some people, and tried some connectors at the store. The problem is that my headphone jack is silent, and it also won't play sounds through the bottom port, using docking devices. The only way to play music is to sync it to a computer, which means it's just a glorified USB hard drive. I copied my items off the iPod (which required a freeware program called iDump, because iTunes doesn't allow it) and then reset the iPod, but when I reloaded my music, it still has the same problem. I may return to get an actual appointment at the Apple store, but since there's no warranty, I may be told that they can't fix it (they don't repair hardware) and will replace it with a similar model iPod, for something around one hundred fifty dollars. This is probably a better deal then I could get if I got a new music player, but I am very worried that it will fail, again. It is the only Apple product I own, and I am not that pleased with it, even when it works. Tags: computers, music, sad Mood: frustrated

Update: I've got the "It's a Wonderful Life" DVD. "Into The Wild" DVD was purchased and viewed, was a good true-story, and gives me a lot to think about as I plan my own adventure. There's still a lot for me to do.I'm feeling like George Bailey did in the film, over most of this past year, and this week has been a particularly rough one. I feel like giving up on everyone, as they have given up on me. I'm not jumping off a bridge or anything, but I'll probably end up a hermit in the woods of Canada before long, and all the better for everyone else. This is the last entry that you'll see, and I won't be bothering anyone in the future, so you can safely erase my memory now. Good bye, and good luck! Peace.
