Now that I have a decent job, new options are open to me. For the first time ever, I have pre-ordered a game and system for launch day. But that will be in November, around the same time the expansion for World of Warcraft (WoW) comes out. In the past, I almost never got new games, even if they were good, unless I really, really wanted them. $20 is usually my max, even now, for most games, with $10 as the goal. The quasi-MMORPG I play now is free to download and play, Conquer Online. Although my job provides the possibility of gaming like I did when I was younger and in school, I frankly already have more current-gen games than I ever had in the past gens. But I have less time to play them, and less desire to spend hours at a time. WoW is finally down to $20 now that the expansion is coming out, but the monthly fee is still more than just a minor inconvenience. Maybe you get what you pay for if you play for several hours every day, but I doubt I will. And what of the actual play? With the Wii, I'll be playing games in a whole new and dynamic way. With WoW, I'll be doing the same type of quests and activities over and over. It is a decent multi-player experience, but I'm sure there's lots of people who'll be too busy to do stuff with me. I'll hold of on WoW a bit longer and see if I can iron out some wrinkles after I have Mii Wii. I am getting into it, but I like to do things when I decide I'm sure... And when it's worth the cost. It's been a while, but I have some good stuff to write. I just got a call from Auxiliary Services, and I'm going to be a temp-part-time pots person in Lakeside for a couple weeks, but it remains to be seen if this turns into a permanent job. It could be that my days at Hillside Laundry are numbered; they probably are either way. I've given up on the computer related job for a while. Saw a WWE show in Syracuse, and it was alright, but not TV or PPV quality. I'm adding pictures to my website. I wanted to go to a Nine Inch Nails show in Albany, but the show is now TBA with only a date and no other info, but I still hope NIN will come to upstate NY. I've got two characters in the guild Out_of_Control on Dreams:Faith server in Conquer Online. We are the biggest guild by far! The website and playing have taken up most of my free time. Feel free to join this FREE game and have fun with the rest of our house! Canada has proved to be more progressive than America over gay marriage, and of course the Catholic church condemns them now. Somehow, I will reach the land of goodness. For now, I'm home alone, which means I am spending a lot of time in my room... alone... and naked! Tags: canada, conquer, games, work, wrestling Mood: nude

I got involved in my first MORPG, but relax, it's free. It's Conquer Online and it's a anime style fantasy game. So many games, so little time. I can't work all the time, or I'm going to get increasingly frustrated. I'm GoodBoi on Faith. This Sunday is my brother Mike and my graduation party, even though we graduated in December. I'll be heading to Coxsackie with Tom and Tyna, but we might be able to fit one or two more. We'll be gone all day. I got a package in the mail from someone who's refriended with me. We've only talked online up to this point, so it's good to see some physical aspect of our friendship. I guess I'm happy again, for now... Tags: conquer, friends, games, school Mood: amused
