I completed reading all available chapters (72) of Hōrō Musuko which is a manga about gender issues in youth. I'll keep reading new ones as they are available, but now I'm moving on to other things. This is part of my attempt to get back into more meaningful entertainment, rather than wasting all my time on games and movies. Once I read some more things I've been meaning to read, I may even start reading other manga that's trans related. It's interesting!

I'm back, after another very long drive, but not worse for wear. This adventure will never be repeated, at least not with me included. If you want to know details, feel free to chat with me, but I'm not going to replay it all here. All I will say is, again, almost all problems come down to communication breakdown. Nobody has thee version of the truth, so your going to have to use your own brains and figure it out!

Does Guts lack a dream of his own? Is he just wandering, swinging his sword, because that's all he knows how to do? Does Griffith's dream and ambition lead to the downfall of him and his friends? Yes. Does a human need a dream to make their life meaningful? No. As the beautiful chorus still echoes in my head, and images of horrible brutality and sexuality fill my imagination, I am left with a feeling of peace. I know I don't have any lofty dreams... I don't really dream; I just try and do what's right. I'm not a hero; I just have peace of mind. I turn the other cheek because that's all I know how to do.
